Construction Progresses at Jericho’s Maternal and Child Health Center under JOUD Phase V
The fifth phase of the “JOUD” project has made significant progress in the construction of the Maternal and Child Health Center in Jericho Governorate. Funded by the Norwegian Representative Office (NRO) and implemented in partnership with the Palestinian Ministry of Health, the project has completed the building’s structural works and internal and external partition walls, advancing to the electromechanical installation stage.
Electrical rough-in works have been completed, including cabling for the main electrical panels, low-voltage networks, and wiring for switches and sockets, in accordance with the approved drawings and technical specifications.
Mechanical rough-in works, including water pipe installations, have also been completed, paving the way for the remaining mechanical and electrical works in the upcoming phases.
This progress is part of the project’s implementation plan to establish a fully integrated, 300 m² health center offering specialized maternal and child healthcare services, helping improve the quality and accessibility of healthcare in Jericho and the Jordan Valley.
