Capacity-Building Training Programme for Youth Committees on Community and Humanitarian Action and Digital Transformation Concludes

As part of the activities of the Youth Partnership Forum Project, MA’AN Development Center concluded the training programme titled “Building the Capacities of Youth Committees in Community and Humanitarian Action and Digital Transformation.” The programme brought together 20 young women and men from youth committees and initiatives across the Gaza Strip.
The programme aimed to strengthen participants’ leadership and digital capacities and enable them to lead more efficient and sustainable community initiatives, thereby promoting community participation and supporting an effective response to local challenges.
The comprehensive training programme focused on developing participants’ skills across three main areas: the use of artificial intelligence tools and digital transformation in community and humanitarian work; community leadership, conflict management, and mediation; and the protection of humanitarian and community workers, alongside the practical and sustainable design and management of community initiatives.
The programme adopted an interactive training methodology that combined practical exercises, case studies, group work, and open discussions. This approach enabled participants to expand their knowledge, strengthen their practical skills, and improve their readiness to develop and implement initiatives that respond effectively and efficiently to the priorities and needs of their communities.
The programme reflects MA’AN Development Center’s commitment to supporting and empowering young people and strengthening their role as active partners in community development. By equipping them with modern knowledge and tools in leadership, digital transformation, and safe humanitarian action, the programme contributes to improving the quality, impact, and sustainability of community initiatives.
The programme was implemented as part of the Youth Partnership Forum Project, under the supervision of MA’AN Development Center and the Popular Art Centre, with the support and funding of the Belgian Social Solidarity Foundation, as part of ongoing efforts to promote youth participation and empower young people to contribute effectively to the development of their communities.
