As part of the activities of the “Emergency Response for Water, Sanitation, Hygiene (WASH), and Multi-Purpose Cash Assistance in Gaza Strip 2025–2026” project, implemented by MA’AN Development Center, maintenance and rehabilitation works for sewage networks and household water networks have been completed in several areas within the jurisdiction of Al-Maghazi Municipality, specifically in Al-Muhajereen and Al-Souq areas.
This intervention comes as part of ongoing efforts to improve affected families’ access to essential needs, particularly water and sanitation services, in addition to multi-purpose cash assistance, contributing to alleviating the difficult humanitarian conditions faced by families across the Gaza Strip.
The works included the maintenance and rehabilitation of damaged infrastructure, aiming to enhance the efficiency of water and sanitation services, reduce health and environmental risks, and improve living conditions for residents in the targeted areas.
