Field Visits to Supported Cooperatives under the Youth Partnership Forum Project

MA’AN Development Center carried out on-site field visits to the five cooperatives that were supported during 2025, as part of the social and solidarity economy initiatives within the Youth Partnership Forum Project, funded by Solsoc Foundation.
The visits aimed to follow up on the impact of the grants in supporting the cooperatives, strengthening their ability to recover, and helping them resume their productive activities despite difficult economic conditions. This contributes to promoting partnership, solidarity, and sustainability within the cooperative sector.
Support for social and solidarity economy initiatives helped restart damaged production lines, expand and diversify production activities to meet market needs and emergency conditions, and create temporary and sustainable job opportunities for cooperative members. It also strengthened the role of cooperatives as community production and service centers and as shared workspaces, even in temporary settings.
MA’AN Development Center affirms that supporting cooperatives is a key pillar in enhancing economic and social resilience and in building more flexible development models capable of responding to crises.
