Two Community Change Agents’ Initiatives to Improve Water Access for Displaced Families in the Central Governorate

As part of the project “Enhancing the Ability of Palestinian Refugees to #Influence Their Living Conditions” implemented by the MA’AN Development Center in partnership with GIZ, the #Community_Change_Agents team carried out two special initiatives in different areas of the #Middle_Governorate, aiming to improve #Water access for displaced people amid the worsening humanitarian crisis.
The initiatives focused on #Supporting #Shelter_Centers in the areas of #Deir_AlBalah and #AlZawaida by providing #Water_Tanks and coordinating efforts with the concerned authorities to ensure a daily water supply. They also contributed to improving #Resource_Management in the targeted communities by involving local residents in finding practical and sustainable solutions to ease their suffering.
A total of 15 young people, including 7 young women, participated in carrying out the two initiatives, which improved access to #Water for around 4,550 displaced people.
