A delegation from the French-Palestinian Solidarity Association (AFPS) visited several health clinics on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, as part of the new phase of cooperation with MA’AN Development Center. The visit included representatives from Jenin Health Directorate and the project team from MA’AN.
The purpose of the visit was to assess the current situation of the clinics and evaluate their needs and the proposed interventions under the new project funded by the AFPS. The three-year project aims to improve the healthcare environment in the villages of Jenin Governorate by implementing key interventions, including the rehabilitation of health centers, the establishment of modern laboratories, and the development of mother and child care centers.
The delegation toured several clinics in different areas such as Jaba'a, Arana, and Kufeirit, where they listened to a briefing from MA’AN team about the proposed priorities. Representatives from the Health Directorate and local clinic staff also shared the main challenges they face in providing health services and discussed ways to improve them within the framework of the new project.
The AFPS delegation reaffirmed the union’s commitment to supporting the Palestinian health sector and strengthening the resilience of marginalized communities by improving the quality of healthcare services. They also praised the continued partnership with the MA’AN Development Center and the positive results achieved through previous projects.
For its part, MA’AN expressed its deep appreciation for the support of the French-Palestinian Solidarity Association, emphasizing that this visit reflects the shared commitment to strengthening future cooperation and setting priorities to ensure more sustainable and responsive interventions that meet the needs of local communities.
