MA’AN Youth Center in Khan Younis Conducts Awareness Sessions on Sexual and Reproductive Health under the Youth Protection and Empowerment Project in the Gaza Strip

MA’AN Youth Center in Khan Younis conducted a series of awareness sessions on sexual and reproductive health targeting adolescent girls, young women, and mothers. This was part of the activities of the Youth and Adolescent Protection and Empowerment Project in the Gaza Strip, implemented by the Development Work MA’AN Center with funding from the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA).
The sessions aimed to raise participants’ awareness about the importance of reproductive health and provide them with the necessary knowledge and information to make healthy and informed decisions in their daily lives.
During the sessions, menstrual hygiene management (MHM) kits were distributed to approximately 500 participants, providing them with practical support that complements the awareness sessions regularly conducted by the center.
This activity is part of MA’AN Youth Center’s ongoing efforts to serve the local community. The center works to provide a safe and effective environment for youth through a range of activities, including sexual and reproductive health awareness sessions, life skills training, and psychosocial support services. Additionally, the center serves as a platform for launching community initiatives led by young people.
