Governor of Tubas and the Northern Jordan Valley Receives a Delegation from MA’AN Development Center to Discuss Development Projects that Strengthen Community Resilience
the Governor of Tubas and the Northern Jordan Valley, Ahmed Asaad, welcomed a delegation from MA’AN Development Center in his office. The delegation included Hassan Abu Rab, Director of MA’AN’s Jenin Office, project coordinator Eng. Alaa Juma, and Eng. Ranin Abu Atiya. The meeting was also attended by Tubas Mayor Mahmoud Daraghmeh and Director General of Development and Planning, Khader Daraghmeh.
Governor Asaad said that the projects carried out by MA’AN in Tubas and the Jordan Valley will help strengthen the resilience of people and support them to stay on their land.
He thanked MA’AN and its partner organizations for their efforts and cooperation, highlighting the latest project on infrastructure, sewage, and waste containers.
Hassan Abu Rab, Director of the Jenin Office, briefed the governor on the planned project and other initiatives in Tubas, explaining the groups they aim to support. He stressed that needs are very high, while resources are very limited in these difficult times.
