MA’AN Development Center Provides Protection and Psychosocial Support Services for Displaced Families at Al-Nweiri Hill in Partnership with UNICEF and Local Organizations

The protection team at MA'AN Development Center is helping at the Nuweiri Hill reception point for displaced people. They are working with UNICEF, Tamer Foundation for Community Education, and the Return Health and Community Association.
Every day, the team provides basic mental health support, gives ID bracelets for children, distributes educational materials, and provides nutritious biscuits to support the mental and social well-being of children and their families during these difficult times. They also provide water and respond quickly to urgent needs, including offering available shelter services.
This effort is part of the center’s work to protect children, reduce the risks they face during emergencies, and help children and their caregivers cope during forced displacement.
