The visit included MA’AN project staff and representatives from the Jericho Health Directorate, and aimed to review interventions funded by AFPS in the Jericho and Jordan Valley area.
The tour began with a visit to Al-Nuwei’ma Clinic, where a waiting hall and pharmacy were built, and the laboratory was renovated and equipped with the necessary devices. The tour also included a visit to Fasayel community to see the upcoming intervention, which will expand the clinic to include a women’s health room to improve maternal and child services. Previous projects in the community were also discussed, such as the construction of a water supply network for Fasayel Al-Fouqa and shelter rehabilitation projects.
During the visit, the delegation reaffirmed the French people’s support for the Palestinian cause and the importance of these interventions in strengthening community resilience and improving health and development services in marginalized areas.
