Two Health Initiatives to Improve Medical Services in Nuseirat
As part of the project “Enhancing the Ability of Palestinian Refugees to Influence Their Living Conditions”, the Community Change Agents team, implemented by MA'AN Development Center in partnership with GIZ, carried out two health initiatives in Al-Nuseirat, Middle Governorate.
The first initiative, in cooperation with the Union of Churches, improved the local medical point by providing offices, waiting areas, and storage for medicines and equipment. The second initiative upgraded the waiting area at Al-Awda Hospital, adding a covered space, seating, and facilities for people with disabilities.
A total of 25 young volunteers, including 9 women, took part, benefiting around 14,300 displaced people and local residents.
