MA’AN Completes Renovation and Equipping of Al-Dyouk Al-Tahta Clinic in the Jordan Valley

MA’AN Development Center has finished renovating, furnishing, and supplying Al-Dyouk Al-Tahta Clinic with the needed medical equipment and supplies. This was done as part of the third phase of the clinic renovation project in the Jordan Valley, funded by the French-Palestinian Solidarity Association (AFPS).

The handover took place in the presence of representatives from Jericho’s Directorate of Health, the construction company, and MA’AN’s project team.

This intervention responds to urgent health needs in the area, especially since there was no medical laboratory before. Setting up and equipping a new lab is a major step forward, as it allows the clinic to provide essential tests and analyses, improving the quality of healthcare for residents.

The project also included installing air conditioners to create a better environment for both medical staff and patients, especially important given the high temperatures in the Jordan Valley.

Beyond improving healthcare services, the project also provides a more supportive workplace for medical teams, helping them deliver better care. It also improves living conditions for the residents of the Jordan Valley, one of the most marginalized areas, making this intervention directly and positively impact daily life.
