Graduation of a group of young women and men in 21st-century skills in Hebron and Bethlehem.

Ma’an Development Center celebrated the graduation of a group of young women and men with entrepreneurial ideas in the Bethlehem and Hebron governorates.

A total of 58 young entrepreneurs completed a series of 21st-century skills training conducted by certified trainers. These trainings aim to build the capacities of Palestinian youth and enhance their opportunities to access sustainable and inclusive self-employment.

Through the "Enhancing Sustainable Employment Opportunities for Youth through Entrepreneurship" project, the center focuses on youth with entrepreneurial ideas in sectors such as agribusiness, food industries, leather industries, eco-tourism, and tourism-related industries.

Following the training sessions, a selection of entrepreneurial ideas in these fields will receive funding through the project. In addition to funding, the project will provide knowledge and skills in entrepreneurship and the green economy, capacity-building on market analysis, and understanding the target market. The project will also offer participants the chance to join a specialized training camp to help develop their project ideas and ensure maximum success and achievement.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to our partners at Palestine Polytechnic University for hosting the training sessions in their facilities and ensuring their effective implementation.

We also thank Ms. Amani Abu Seneina, Director of the Culture and Youth Department in the Hebron Governorate, for her significant role in reaching youth centers in the Hebron area.

This project is funded by Enable.
