Rehabilitation of the Desalination Plant at Nasser Medical Complex Completed, with a Daily Production Capacity of 60 m³

As part of ongoing efforts to support the continuous provision of safe water to healthcare facilities in the Gaza Strip, MA’AN Development Center has completed the rehabilitation and maintenance of the water desalination plant at Nasser Medical Complex, with a production capacity of approximately 60 cubic meters of desalinated water per day.
The intervention included the necessary rehabilitation and maintenance works to improve the plant’s operational efficiency and ensure the continued production of desalinated water. This contributes to meeting part of the medical complex’s water needs and providing a safer and more reliable water supply for patients, medical staff, and other personnel.
This intervention was implemented under the project “Emergency Response in Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) and Cash Assistance in the Gaza Strip – 2026,” implemented by MA’AN Development Center as part of its efforts to support vital facilities and strengthen water and sanitation services amid the current humanitarian conditions, contributing to the continuity of essential services for the population.
