Urgent Humanitarian Response for Affected Families in the Arab Al-Jahalin Community – Qalqilya Governorate

As part of its emergency humanitarian response, MA’AN Development Center, with support from Solidarités International, distributed water tanks and family hygiene kits to affected families in the Arab Al-Jahalin community near the village of Immatin in Qalqilya Governorate. The intervention followed demolitions and attacks that destroyed homes and structures and caused severe damage to the community’s water infrastructure.
A total of 21 families, comprising approximately 110 individuals, benefited from the intervention. The assistance included the distribution of 28 water tanks and 21 family hygiene kits, helping families store water and meet their essential needs amid the difficult humanitarian conditions.
MA’AN Development Center will also provide safe drinking water through water trucking to meet the community’s urgent needs, following the disruption of water access caused by settler attacks and damage to the water network.
This response forms part of MA’AN Development Center’s continued efforts to support the most affected Palestinian communities and mitigate the humanitarian consequences of violations targeting civilians. The intervention is being implemented in coordination with humanitarian partners to ensure the rapid and effective delivery of assistance.
