MA’AN Follows Up on Entrepreneurial Projects Supported Through the “Employment for All” Project in Jenin and Tulkarm
As part of its ongoing efforts to support entrepreneurship and promote sustainable employment opportunities, the Maan Hub team, affiliated with MA’AN Development Center, conducted a field visit to follow up on several projects supported through the “Employment for All” project, implemented in cooperation with the Swiss Representative Office in the Occupied Palestinian Territory and funded by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC).
The visit included Bio Pal Agricultural Company in Jenin, which was supported with two modern greenhouses for cultivating tropical and non-traditional crops such as pineapple and blueberry. This support contributes to improving agricultural production and creating new employment opportunities in the agricultural sector.
The team also visited Al-Taysir for Reconstruction Company in Tulkarm, which was supported with an advanced hydroponics system for leafy greens production. The system utilizes Internet of Things (IoT) technology and smart sensors, enabling remote management of irrigation and fertilization, as well as monitoring key production indicators such as pH levels, salinity, and temperature through mobile applications, enhancing both productivity and quality.
These interventions reflect MA’AN Development Center’s commitment to supporting innovative and entrepreneurial initiatives, empowering entrepreneurs to expand their businesses and create sustainable employment opportunities that contribute to Palestine’s economic development.
