MA’AN Development Center implemented a series of humanitarian and emergency interventions between January and April 2026 in response to the growing needs of the most vulnerable and affected communities across the West Bank. These interventions reached 68,534 total beneficiaries across 10 governorates: Jenin, Tubas, Tulkarm, Nablus, Salfit, Ramallah, Jericho, Jerusalem, Bethlehem, and Hebron.
The interventions focused on three main sectors: WASH, Shelter/NFIs, and MPCA, aiming to improve access to essential services and provide critical support to vulnerable households.
Under the WASH sector, which reached 57,759 beneficiaries, MA’AN implemented a wide range of activities, including 4,117m³ of Water Trucking, the distribution of 380 Water Bladders, the provision of 32 Water Storage Tanks, and the installation of 94 Water networks. The interventions also included the rehabilitation of 20 Cisterns, the distribution of 77 kg of Chlorine Tablets, 75 Hygiene Kits, and 920 Waste Containers, in addition to providing 2,000m of WSN Repair Works to improve water and sanitation infrastructure in targeted communities.
Within the Shelter/NFIs sector, the interventions reached 10,000 beneficiaries through the provision of 2,313 E-Vouchers, each valued at 300 NIS, enabling vulnerable households to access essential clothing and non-food items and improve their living conditions.
Through the MPCA component, 775 beneficiaries were reached through 179 cash grants, with a total value of 314,145 NIS, where each family received 1,755 NIS to help meet urgent needs and alleviate economic hardship.
These interventions reflect MA’AN Development Center’s continued commitment to responding to urgent humanitarian needs and strengthening the resilience of vulnerable Palestinian communities through the provision of essential services and humanitarian assistance across the West Bank.
