Field Visit to Review the Progress of the LIFT Project in Kafr Dan, Jenin Governorate
The LIFT Project team, implemented by MA’AN Development Center, welcomed Ms. Liana Nasser, We Effect Country Director, and Mr. Murad Housani, Program Coordinator, with the participation of a representative from the Directorate of Agriculture in Jenin, during a field visit to the town of Kafr Dan in Jenin Governorate. The visit aimed to review the progress of project activities and follow up on achievements made toward the project’s objectives.
The visit included a meeting with the project committee in Kafr Dan and a number of beneficiaries, during which planned interventions and activities, as well as the expected outcomes in supporting farmers and promoting local development, were presented. Participants also discussed future plans and mechanisms to maximize the project's impact in addressing community needs and strengthening local resilience.
During the visit, Ms. Liana Nasser expressed her appreciation for the efforts made by MA’AN Development Center and its local partners in implementing the project, emphasizing the importance of continuing joint efforts to achieve the project’s development goals and promote sustainable development in the targeted areas.
For its part, the project team highlighted the importance of the strategic partnership with We Effect, noting that this collaboration represents a key pillar in supporting the implementation of LIFT Project activities and achieving sustainable development outcomes that benefit the residents of Kafr Dan and other targeted communities across Jenin Governorate
