MA’AN Development Center Discusses Enhanced Cooperation with Ya'bad Municipality to Implement Development Projects
A delegation from MA’AN Development Center, including Northern Office Director Eng. Hassan Abu Al-Rub, Eng. Rami Abu Baker, and Eng. Palestine Abu Baker, visited Ya'bad Municipality, where they were received by Mayor Dr. Samer Abu Baker, Municipal Council members Ahmad Abu Baker and Lubna Hamarsha, in the presence of heads of municipal departments and divisions.
During the meeting, both parties discussed prospects for strengthening cooperation between MA’AN Development Center and Ya'bad Municipality, as well as the town’s key development priorities and needs, particularly in the sectors of water, health, environment, agriculture, and renewable energy, with the aim of improving services provided to citizens and enhancing their resilience.
Discussions focused on the challenges related to water scarcity in Al-Turm Village and the Ameriha community, where the current situation and urgent needs were reviewed. The participants emphasized the importance of joint efforts to develop interventions that improve access to water and help mitigate the impacts of the ongoing crisis.
The meeting also addressed ways to support efforts aimed at promoting public health and improving environmental conditions in the town through the implementation of development projects and initiatives that respond to the needs of the local community.
MA’AN Development Center delegation reaffirmed the Center’s commitment to continuing cooperation with local authorities and partners, and to developing sustainable development projects that respond to citizens’ priorities and contribute to improving quality of life in the targeted areas.
