Field Networking Day Titled “Stories of Resilience from Tulkarm” Implemented Within Youth Partnership Forum Project

MA’AN Development Center and the Popular Art Centre, with funding from Solsoc, and in partnership with AL-Awda Center for Childhood and Youth, implemented a field networking day titled “Stories of Resilience from Tulkarm” as part of the activities of the Youth Partnership Forum Project, with the participation of more than 60 young men and women representing various youth groups and community-based centers active in the governorate.
The activity began with an introduction to the experience of “Ard Al-Amal Cooperative” as a leading model in the social and solidarity economy, where participants learned about the cooperative’s role in strengthening community resilience and local development. This was followed by a voluntary activity to prepare the land, carried out by volunteers from the participating youth groups and centers, within the framework of supporting community initiatives and promoting teamwork and cooperation.
Participants then visited Al-Muwahid School, which hosts forcibly displaced families from Tulkarm and Nur Shams camps, in a gesture of solidarity and support. The visit included a range of artistic, recreational, and psychosocial relief activities targeting children and women, contributing to easing the impact of the difficult conditions and enhancing psychosocial support.
The activity concluded with a group dialogue session that brought together the participating youth groups, during which ideas and experiences were exchanged and opportunities for future cooperation and joint community action were discussed, further strengthening the role of youth in volunteerism and community initiatives
