MA’AN Development Center Delivers the First Batch of Water Pipes to Qabatiya and Jenin Within the Emergency Response Project in the Water Sector – West Bank
MA’AN Development Center delivered the first batch of water pipes to the towns of Qabatiya and Jenin as part of the “Emergency Response Project in the Water Sector – West Bank,” aimed at supporting and strengthening the water sector in the affected areas amid the extensive damage inflicted on infrastructure and water networks due to repeated Israeli occupation incursions and violations.
These interventions come within MA’AN’s ongoing efforts to strengthen the resilience of local communities and improve essential services provided to citizens. The pipes will be used for maintenance works and the rehabilitation of damaged water lines, contributing to ensuring continuous access to water for residents and alleviating their suffering.
MA’AN Development Center reaffirmed its commitment to continuing support for local authorities and affected communities through developmental and humanitarian interventions that enhance citizens’ resilience and ability to cope with current challenges, particularly in vital and essential sectors.
For his part, the Mayor of Qabatiya, Mr. Bilal Assaf, praised the initiative and expressed his appreciation and gratitude to MA’AN Development Center for its continuous support to the town and its residents under the difficult circumstances, emphasizing the importance of this grant in rehabilitating water networks and improving services provided to the community.
