MA'AN Development Center participated in a coordination meeting held in Tulkarm Governorate, at the invitation of H.E. Governor Major General Dr. Abdullah Kamil, with the participation of representatives from Action Against Hunger and several official bodies and partner institutions. The meeting aimed to strengthen the humanitarian response to support those forcibly displaced from Tulkarm and Nur Shams refugee camps.
MA'AN was represented at the meeting by Mr. Hassan Abu Al-Rub, where key interventions implemented by the Center in partnership with relevant institutions were reviewed. These efforts aim to alleviate the difficult humanitarian conditions faced by displaced individuals, particularly under the current circumstances.
The meeting also discussed ways to enhance joint coordination among various stakeholders to improve the quality of response and expand the scope of services provided, including relief, shelter, and social support.
During the meeting, the MA'AN Development Center reaffirmed its commitment to continuing its efforts to support affected groups and to working in partnership with local and international actors to ensure an effective and sustainable response that contributes to strengthening community resilience amid ongoing challenges.
The meeting concluded with a set of recommendations that will be followed up through the Dignity Committee for Relief and Shelter, ensuring coordinated and integrated efforts to serve displaced populations and address their urgent needs.
