MA’AN Development Center, through its Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, conducted in-person trainings for the sixth cohort as part of the “Employ Me: Training for Employment” program, in cooperation with the Swiss Representative Office in the occupied Palestinian territory and funded by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC).
The Center welcomed trainees who secured paid internship opportunities with its partners across the private and non-profit sectors throughout the West Bank.
Participants are currently undergoing intensive training designed to equip them as capable professionals and future leaders in their fields. The training covers key topics including labor law and trainee/employee rights, mental health and professional well-being, leadership skills and building influential leaders, team building and effectiveness, and negotiation skills related to work scope, tasks, and salary.
The program aims to equip youth with the necessary tools to transform these internship opportunities into sustainable employment and successful career pathways upon completion of the training period.
