Building Bridges, Strengthening Partnerships
Yesterday marked a significant day for MA'AN Hub as we took important steps toward deepening our ties with two of Palestine's leading chambers of commerce.
In the morning, we were honored to welcome Mr. Loay Al-Hussaini, Director of the Jerusalem Chamber of Commerce, and Mr. Habib Hroub, Board Member of the Chamber, to MA'AN Hub in Ramallah. The visit began with a meeting with Mr. Sami Khader, General Director of MA'AN Development Center, and Mr. Odeh Shehaddeh, Internal Auditor of MA'AN Development Center, where an open and productive dialogue took place around the economic challenges facing Jerusalem and the broader Palestinian business community. Following the meeting, Mr. George Lolas from the MA'AN Hub team hosted Mr. Al-Hussaini and Mr. Hroub on a tour of the hub's facilities, showcasing the workspaces, programs, and services that MA'AN Hub has to offer.
Later in the day, Mr. George Lolas and Mr. Omar Bouzia from MA'AN Hub traveled to the Ramallah and Al-Bireh Chamber of Commerce, where they were warmly welcomed by Mr. Ayman Al-Mimi, Director of the Center for Entrepreneurship and Business Development. The meeting covered a range of topics of mutual interest, and Mr. Al-Mimi generously took the MA'AN Hub team on a tour of the Chamber's own facilities - a reflection of the spirit of openness and collaboration that defined the day.
Both visits are a step toward something bigger. MA'AN Hub and MA'AN Development Center are moving forward toward signing Memoranda of Understanding with both the Jerusalem Chamber of Commerce and the Ramallah and Al-Bireh Chamber of Commerce - formalizing partnerships that will strengthen the support ecosystem for entrepreneurs and businesses across Palestine.
