Visit of the Federation of Palestinian Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture to MA'AN Development Center and MA'AN Hub for Innovation & Entrepreneurship

On March 11, 2026, MA'AN Development Center was honored to welcome a high-level delegation from the Federation of Palestinian Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture, headed by Mr. Abdoo Idrees, Head of the Federation, in an official visit to learn about MA'AN's programs and activities across 37 years of development and community resilience.
The delegation was received by Mr. Sami Khader, CEO of MA'AN Development Center; Mr. Hasan Abduljabar, Director of Programs; and Dr. Odeh Shehadeh, Internal Auditor. Mr. Khader presented MA'AN's journey since its establishment in 1989 and its pivotal role in strengthening Palestinian resilience through its diverse development programs.
The visit also included a tour of MA'AN Hub for Innovation & Entrepreneurship, where the delegation was introduced to its work in supporting entrepreneurs and MSMEs. During the meeting, both Mr. Sami Khader and Mr. Abdoo Idrees emphasized that the relationship between the two institutions should be built on partnership and complementarity — not competition. Both affirmed that their ultimate goal is the same: empowering the Palestinian economy and serving local communities, and that collaboration is the most effective path to achieving real and lasting impact.
Mr. Idrees also shed light on the Federation's work and vision, highlighting the philanthropic role of Palestinian businessmen and their contributions to supporting local communities across the governorates, as well as major projects aimed at strengthening Palestinian manufacturers across various sectors — boosting their competitiveness and contributing to sustainable economic development and the localization of national industry.
Both parties expressed serious interest in moving this partnership forward — with MA'AN's team set to visit the Federation's headquarters and a number of Chambers of Commerce across the West Bank governorates, to further explore collaboration opportunities and strengthen institutional ties.
Real partnerships. Real impact.
