MA’AN Development Center Participates in an International Event Organized by the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA)

MA’AN Development Center participated in the international virtual event “Lights of Solidarity: A Ramadan Conversation on Humanitarian Needs,” organized by the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA). The center was represented by Program Manager Hanadi Mubarak. Speakers from Yemen, Sudan, Afghanistan, and the Occupied Palestinian Territory also joined the event to discuss humanitarian challenges and the importance of solidarity during Ramadan.
During the session, Hanadi Mubarak shared field experiences of affected families in Gaza and the West Bank. She highlighted the role of humanitarian funding in enabling teams to respond quickly and provide safe water, essential supplies, and cash assistance to displaced families.
She emphasized that the core of humanitarian work is to reduce daily suffering and ensure that the most vulnerable families can live with dignity.
This participation reflects MA’AN Development Center’s commitment to continuing its humanitarian efforts and strengthening solidarity to support the most vulnerable groups in humanitarian crises.
