MA’AN Development Center Launches Child Empowerment Activities under the “Gaza We Want” Initiative to Promote Expression of Hopes and Future
As part of the “Gaza We Want” initiative, and through the efforts of the Child Protection Team at MA'AN Development Center, a series of activities was launched in Gaza City and the southern Gaza Strip, aiming to empower children to express their opinions, dreams, and visions for the future of Gaza.
During these activities, children shared their ideas and perceptions of what they would like their city to become, reflecting their aspirations and hopes for a better future for their community. The initiative was implemented in Gaza City and the southern camps as part of the activities launched by UNICEF, with the participation of partner organizations in the protection sector, within ongoing efforts to strengthen psychosocial support for children.
The activities provided a safe space for children to express themselves and their dreams away from daily pressures and challenges. They included interactive drawings, group games, and expressive exercises that help children think positively and build hope.
This initiative is part of a series of protection program activities implemented by MA'AN Development Center, aimed at enhancing children’s well-being, mitigating the impact of difficult conditions on them, and enabling them to express themselves in a supportive and safe environment.
