MA’AN Development Center Provides Water to Bedouin Families in Jaba’a as Part of Emergency Humanitarian Response
As part of the emergency humanitarian response and within the multi-sectoral emergency response project, and with the support of Solidarités International, the MA’AN Development Center is providing water to Bedouin families in the Jaba’ Bedouin community through water tankers, in response to the acute water crisis facing the community.
This intervention came after the main water pipeline operated by Mekorot was cut off, resulting in residents losing their only reliable source of water.
The intervention supports approximately 44 Bedouin households, comprising around 270 individuals, in addition to a school and a kindergarten serving about 90 students and teachers, by supplying a total of 486 cubic meters of water over a period of two months.
This intervention aims to ensure access to safe and usable water, contribute to improving living conditions, and strengthen the resilience of affected families amid the ongoing humanitarian situation in the West Bank.
