Signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Hebron Chamber of Commerce and Industry (HCCI) and MA’AN Hub, under Center of MA’AN Development Center

MA’AN Hub welcomed a delegation from the Hebron Chamber of Commerce and Industry, including Mr. Raed Al-Sharbaty, Director General, and Ms. Mai Qasrawi, Director of the Women Entrepreneurs Unit and Business Incubator at the Chamber, where a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed to strengthen joint collaboration and support economic and social development efforts in Hebron Governorate.
During the meeting, Mr. Sami Khader, General Director of MA’AN Development Center, highlighted MA’AN’s development journey since its establishment in 1989 and its role in strengthening Palestinian resilience through its four core development programs focusing on economic development, food security and agriculture, governance and social accountability, and emergency response and humanitarian action.
In turn, Mr. Raed Al-Sharbaty presented the Chamber’s role as the umbrella of the private sector in Hebron Governorate, outlining its key activities and services provided to its members, including support for entrepreneurial initiatives, private sector development, and strengthening collaboration between the private sector and civil society institutions.
The meeting also included discussions on areas of mutual interest and future collaboration opportunities aimed at enhancing integration between development efforts and the private sector, contributing to sustainable economic impact in Hebron.
This partnership reflects both institutions’ commitment to building impactful collaborations that empower entrepreneurs, women, youth, and cooperatives through joint training programs, collaborative initiatives, and co-funded projects with local and international partners.
The MoU will remain valid for three years under a shared vision to strengthen institutional cooperation and generate sustainable development impact for the local community.
