MA’AN Development Center Implements Emergency Winter Response to Support Displaced Families in Jenin and Tulkarm

MA’AN Development Center carried out an emergency humanitarian project to support 570 displaced families in Jenin and Tulkarm, including 3،311 individuals. The support was provided through electronic vouchers to buy winter clothes using the PalPay system, funded by Action for Humanity.
The project targeted the most vulnerable families, including female-headed households, families with children, people with disabilities, and families who lost their source of income due to displacement. This support allowed families to choose the winter clothes they need with dignity, while also helping local markets.
The project was implemented in response to urgent needs identified through field assessments, and in coordination with UNRWA and the Shelter Cluster to ensure coordination, avoid duplication, and deliver assistance safely and effectively.
With this project, the total number of displaced families supported by MA’AN Development Center with winter clothing assistance has reached 1,621 families in Jenin and Tulkarm, with support from several donors.
