MA'AN Development Center held a group information session with civil society organizations and grassroots institutions in Hebron Governorate on Tuesday, 3 February 2026, at the Hebron Governorate headquarters, with the participation of 46 representatives from local and international organizations.
During the meeting, the services and objectives of the Aid Workers Protection Project, funded by the European Union Directorate-General for European Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid Operations (DG ECHO), were introduced. The mechanism for accessing the project’s services and the financial grants provided to institutions to support aid workers who are exposed to violations and harm because of their work was also explained.
The presentation was followed by an interactive discussion during which participants raised many questions, mainly focusing on the eligibility criteria for benefiting from the financial grants.
Several participants also emphasized the importance of supporting aid workers and volunteers to enable them to continue their humanitarian work and to provide services with humanity and dignity to the Palestinian community, particularly in light of ongoing attacks and violations.
