MA’AN Development Center Implements Emergency Winter Blanket Distribution for Displaced Families in Jenin

As part of the emergency winter response to support displaced and vulnerable families in northern West Bank, especially in Jenin Governorate, MA’AN Development Center implemented an activity to distribute winter blankets, with generous support from Lios Ramallah and Young Professionals / Ramallah Federation.
The activity targeted 27 displaced families from Jenin Refugee Camp. A total of 54 winter blankets were distributed (two blankets per family), helping protect families from severe cold and reduce their suffering during the winter season.
Beneficiaries were selected based on UNRWA lists, with priority given to the most vulnerable families, especially those with children, elderly people, persons with disabilities, and families living in unfinished housing.
The distribution was carried out on January 26, 2026, in full coordination with UNRWA, in an organized manner that respected the dignity of beneficiaries and ensured fair access to assistance.
MA’AN Development Center emphasized its ongoing commitment to supporting affected communities and strengthening their resilience, especially under difficult humanitarian conditions.
