Handover of Electrical Network Maintenance Works at Tamoun Boys Basic School under Joud Project – Phase Five

As part of the Joud Project – Phase Five (Enhancing Resilience in the Jordan Valley), funded by the Royal Norwegian Representative Office to the Palestinian Authority, the initial handover of the electrical network maintenance works at Tammoun Boys’ Basic School was completed on Monday, 12/01/2026.
The works included installing main and sub electrical panels and carrying out full electrical extensions for the school building, which consists of three floors (400 m² per floor). The school serves 324 students and 19 teachers.
The handover took place in the presence of representatives from the Ministry of Education, the Tubas Directorate of Education, and MA'AN Development Center.
This achievement is part of a comprehensive maintenance plan for the school. Over the coming two months, the works will also include replacing floor tiles, treating roof cracks and waterproofing, repairing damaged beams and columns, carrying out full internal and external painting, and raising the fences in the outdoor yards.
At MA'AN Development Center, we reaffirm our continued efforts to improve the learning environment and provide a safe and well-equipped school for all students.
