MA’AN Development Center Implements an Emergency Winter Response to Support Displaced Families in Jenin

MA’AN Development Center carried out an emergency humanitarian project to support 880 displaced families in Jenin Governorate, benefiting 4,638 individuals, by providing electronic vouchers for winter clothing through the PalPay system, with funding from the Occupied Palestinian Territory Humanitarian Fund.
The project targeted the most vulnerable families, including female-headed households, families with children, persons with disabilities, and families that lost their source of income due to displacement. This support allowed families to choose the winter clothes they need with dignity, while also supporting local markets.
The project was implemented in response to urgent needs identified through field assessments, and in close coordination with UNRWA, the Shelter Cluster, and OCHA – Northern West Bank, to ensure coordination, avoid duplication, and deliver assistance safely and effectively.
