MA’AN Development Center Implements a Winter Blanket Distribution Project to Support Displaced Families in the Northern West Bank

In light of the difficult humanitarian conditions faced by displaced families in the northern West Bank, MA’AN Development Center implemented a winter blanket distribution project to support displaced and most vulnerable families from Jenin and Tulkarm refugee camps. The project was generously supported by Droplets of Mercy and coordinated with the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA).
A total of 248 displaced families, including 890 individuals, benefited from this intervention. The project distributed 496 winter blankets, with two blankets provided to each family, to help ensure warmth and protection during the winter season, especially for families living in unfinished shelters or under harsh living conditions.
This project responds to urgent needs resulting from forced displacement and ongoing security challenges and helps reduce the suffering of children, women, and the elderly during the cold winter weather.
MA’AN Development Center reaffirms its commitment to supporting the most vulnerable families and working with its partners to ensure that humanitarian assistance reaches those in need with dignity and fairness.
