MA’AN Development Center, in partnership with Tubas Municipality, launches a development project under the “Stabilization Response Mechanism” project.
MA’AN Development Center, in partnership with Tubas Municipality, launched a development project under the “Stabilization Response Mechanism” project, aiming to improve basic services and strengthen water and wastewater infrastructure in the city of Tubas.
This project comes in response to the growing needs of the city due to repeated military incursions, which have caused damage to infrastructure and increased pressure on basic services, in addition to urban expansion and challenges that have affected the efficiency of solid waste management and public cleanliness. The project includes the provision of new solid waste containers with high technical specifications to improve waste collection and enhance the urban environment.
The project also includes rehabilitation and maintenance works for water and wastewater networks in several targeted areas, with the aim of improving network efficiency, reducing breakdowns, and ensuring better and more sustainable access to essential services for residents.
MA’AN confirmed that this project is part of its vision to support municipalities and strengthen their capacity to deliver quality basic services, contributing to improved quality of life and greater community resilience under the current conditions.
Tubas Mayor Mahmoud Daraghmeh expressed his appreciation for the development partnership with MA’AN, noting that this cooperation has resulted in impactful projects across several sectors and directly addressed citizens’ needs.
It is worth noting that this project covers both Tubas and Tulkarm, and is being implemented in partnership with their municipalities, as part of broader efforts to enhance stability and improve basic services.
