MA’AN Development Center Continues Providing Non-Formal Education and Child Protection Services to 591 Children under the Resilience Enhancement Project

MA'AN Development Center’s education team continues to provide non-formal education and protection services in two learning spaces under the project “Strengthening Resilience through Education and Child Protection Services,” implemented in partnership with Action for Humanity, which fully equipped and prepared one of the spaces.
The project aims to improve access for at-risk children and their families to non-formal education, child protection services, and psychosocial support. These efforts help strengthen their resilience, ensure continuous learning, and support community protection mechanisms. A total of 591 children have benefited from the educational services provided in the spaces.
In line with the vision and commitment of both Action for Humanity and MA'AN to provide a safe and inclusive learning environment, several supporting activities were carried out, including:
Distributing school bags and stationery to children enrolled in the learning spaces.
Providing daily snacks consisting of a 100g pack of fortified biscuits for each child, coordinated across MA'AN’s different programs.
Installing handwashing stations inside the learning spaces to promote personal hygiene and encourage children to wash their hands.
These efforts come as part of the ongoing partnership between MA'AN and Action for Humanity, aiming to provide safe, supportive learning environments for children, protect their rights, and ensure their continued learning despite ongoing humanitarian challenges.
