The child protection team at MA’AN Development Center, through the Family Centers Project and in partnership with UNICEF, continues to carry out a series of awareness activities for children and parents in different governorates, aiming to protect children and support their mental well-being during the war and after the ceasefire.
These activities focus on organizing interactive workshops for children and parents to introduce them to the dangers of war remnants and how to act safely. The team also distributes brochures and awareness materials that include clear, practical instructions to help families protect themselves and behave wisely in risky environments.
These workshops are especially important at this time, as they help children and parents cope psychologically, raise their awareness of potential dangers, and strengthen their ability to protect themselves. This contributes to reducing the impact of the conflict on the community and increasing their sense of safety as much as possible.
This initiative reflects the commitment of the MA’AN Development Center and UNICEF to protecting children and supporting families emotionally and socially. It also highlights the importance of providing support to communities and creating a safer environment for children and families in all governorates.
