Building Youth Capacities in Community Leadership and Rapid Crisis Response to Strengthen Resilience Through the Youth Partnership Forum Initiative by MA'AN

MA’AN Development Center’s Youth Partnership Forum Implements Training Program to Build #Youth_Leadership in Crisis Response
The Youth Partnership Forum, part of MA’AN Development Center, carried out a training program titled “#Building_Youth_Capacities in Community Leadership for Rapid Crisis Response to Strengthen Resilience,” with the participation of 40 young men and women from partner youth groups during 2025.
The program aimed to develop youth #skills in psychological first aid, community leadership, and designing rapid-response initiatives, helping to build sustainable resilience within local communities during emergencies in the #Gaza Strip.
Through the training, participants gained and practiced practical skills in #dealing with trauma and #managing community initiatives during crises, and they also #prepared action plans for innovative youth initiatives that strengthen community resilience and sustainable livelihoods.
The program also helped establish a youth network of trained community leaders in psychological first aid and crisis management, while enhancing their awareness of their leadership roles in improving psychological and community resilience and ensuring effective crisis response.
