MA’AN Development Center has completed a project to extend and repair sewage lines in Al-Masar’i Street in Nuseirat Camp, in the south of Gaza Strip. The project was carried out in cooperation with Nuseirat Municipality and the Coastal Municipalities Water Utility, and with support from UNICEF.
This project is part of MA’AN’s “Emergency Response in Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene in the Gaza Strip,” which works on repairing and maintaining damaged sewage networks. The intervention included supplying, installing, and fixing pipes and manholes of different sizes, as well as rehabilitating the main network and household connections.
Around 1,000 people are expected to benefit from this project.
