MA'AN Development Center in collaboration with (DCA/NCA), has completed 1282 awareness sessions on the dangers of explosive remnants of war and enhancing safety and protection measures during emergencies.
The goal of these sessions was to strengthen resilience and humanitarian preparedness for those affected by the war in Gaza Strip. A total of 30,881 individuals, including displaced people in the southern and central Gaza areas, benefited from the project.
The awareness sessions included 646 sessions in central Gaza, benefiting 14,507 individuals (48.09% male, 51.91% female), and 628 sessions in southern Gaza, benefiting 16,374 individuals (49.95% male, 49.39% female). Both formal and informal awareness workshops were conducted, and content and awareness materials were distributed, in addition to institutional workshops and interventions within awareness projects. It is worth noting that 25 pieces of content and awareness materials were used, focusing on 3 thematic topics for two age groups.
